I tend to workout early AM, and used to pound a diet soda as my pre workout. I switched to this and have found it gives a much stronger and sustained energy boost without the jitters other caffeinated options have given me before.
I've tried many different pre-workout drinks over my years of lifting and for the most part have not been happy with them, loaded with toxic ingredients, jitters, the crash that comes after, etc.
