Two of the four actives in this formula are named, standardized, trademarked extracts rather than generic plant powder. That matters more than it sounds: turmeric root and turmeric extract are not the same raw material, and the difference shows up in the milligrams that reach your bloodstream.

WHAT IT IS

A four-part botanical and enzyme formula built around Curcumin C3 Complex® at 900 mg, with bromelain, boswellia, MSM, devil's claw and BioPerine®.

WHAT IT DOES

Supports your body's normal inflammatory and recovery response across more than one signaling pathway, rather than blocking a single one.

WHO IT'S FOR

Active adults with training soreness, overuse aches, stiff mornings, or a joint that reminds them it's there after 18 holes.

HOW TO TAKE IT

1 to 2 capsules, one to three times daily, with a meal that contains some fat. Fat-soluble compounds need fat present.

Support the response, don't silence it

Inflammation is not the enemy. Chronic inflammation is.

Acute inflammation is how you heal. It's the signal that brings blood, immune cells and repair machinery to a tissue that needs them. The problem is when the signal never gets turned off — when it stops being a repair process and becomes a background hum that quietly wears on joints, gut lining, vessels and energy for years.

The usual approach
  • Chase the symptom, wait for it to come back, chase it again
  • Single-pathway thinking — hit one enzyme and hope that covers it
  • Generic turmeric root powder with no standardization on the label
  • No absorption strategy, so most of the curcumin never makes it past the gut wall
  • Proprietary blends so large you can't tell what dose you're getting of anything
The INFLA-MEND approach
  • Support the pathways that regulate the response, so the body can complete the cycle
  • Coverage across NF-κB, COX-2 and 5-LOX signaling instead of one lane
  • Curcumin C3 Complex®, standardized to 95% total curcuminoids, disclosed at 900 mg
  • BioPerine® piperine included specifically to raise curcumin absorption
  • Every headline active listed with its milligram amount, right on the panel

What people actually notice

Built for the four places inflammation shows up first

These are the areas the ingredients in this formula have been studied for. Everyone's starting point is different, and so is everyone's timeline.

01

Joint comfort and mobility

The knee, shoulder, low back or elbow that runs the show. Curcumin and boswellia are the two most studied botanicals for joint comfort in active adults.

02

Training recovery

Soreness the day after, and the day after that. Bromelain and curcumin have both been studied in the context of post-exercise recovery and muscle comfort.

03

Overuse and connective tissue

Tendon and soft-tissue irritation from repetition, not injury. MSM supplies sulfur, which connective tissue and collagen synthesis both draw on.

04

Immune and metabolic balance

Chronic low-grade inflammation doesn't stay in the joint. Curcumin has been studied for its role in immune regulation and metabolic and cardiovascular markers.

Why one ingredient was never going to be enough

Three lanes, not one

Inflammatory signaling doesn't run down a single road. Most single-ingredient products only address one lane — which is exactly why people take one for six weeks, feel a little better, and assume that's all there is.

NF-κB
The master switch

The transcription factor that turns on a large share of the body's inflammatory gene expression. Upstream of nearly everything else.

Addressed by: Curcumin C3 Complex®
COX-2
The prostaglandin lane

The enzyme route that generates prostaglandins tied to pain signaling and swelling. The familiar, well-mapped lane.

Addressed by: Curcumin C3 Complex®
5-LOX
The leukotriene lane

A separate arm of the same cascade, producing leukotrienes. It runs independently of the COX lane, which is why covering only COX leaves work undone.

Addressed by: Boswellia serrata

Mechanism described here reflects published research on these botanical compounds. It describes how the ingredients are understood to work in the body — it is not a claim that this product treats, prevents or cures any condition.

Inside the formula

Four actives. Every headline dose disclosed.

Curcumin C3 Complex®
900 mg

Curcumin is one of the most heavily researched botanical compounds in the world, with thousands of published papers behind it. But research volume means nothing if the raw material in the capsule isn't the raw material that was studied.

Curcumin C3 Complex® is a standardized extract delivering 95% total curcuminoids — the full trio of curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin, not just one isolated fraction. Its effects have been studied in relation to NF-κB and COX-2 signaling, two of the central regulators of the inflammatory response.

  • Supports joint comfort
  • Supports healthy immune regulation
  • Supports metabolic and cardiovascular health
Bromelain
100 mg · 1,800 MCU

A proteolytic enzyme complex from pineapple stem. Potency in enzymes is measured in activity units, not milligrams alone — which is why the MCU figure is on the panel. 1,800 MCU tells you what the enzyme can actually do; 100 mg on its own tells you very little.

Bromelain has been studied for its role in protein digestion, in the breakdown of fibrin, and in post-exercise soft-tissue comfort. It also works well alongside curcumin, addressing recovery from a different angle rather than doubling up on the same one.

  • Supports protein digestion and nutrient uptake
  • Supports post-exercise muscle comfort
  • Complements curcumin rather than duplicating it
Botanical and Sulfur Blend
90 mg

Three targeted additions that widen the formula's coverage. Their job here is pathway breadth and connective-tissue support alongside the curcumin and bromelain doing the primary work — not to duplicate it.

MSM METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE

A bioavailable sulfur donor. Sulfur is a required raw material for collagen and connective tissue, and for glutathione, the body's primary intracellular antioxidant.

Boswellia Serrata 70% BOSWELLIC ACIDS

Indian frankincense, standardized for boswellic acids. Studied for its effect on the 5-LOX pathway — a separate arm of the inflammatory cascade from the COX route, and the reason this formula covers three lanes rather than two.

Devil's Claw 2.5–3.5% HARPAGOSIDES

A southern African botanical standardized for harpagosides, traditionally used and studied for musculoskeletal comfort in adults under physical load.

BioPerine® Black Pepper Extract
10 mg · 95% piperine

Curcumin has a real weakness: on its own, it is poorly absorbed and rapidly cleared. Swallowing more of it doesn't fix that. Piperine does two useful things — it slows the intestinal conjugation that clears curcumin before it can circulate, and it interferes with the efflux pumps that push it back out of the gut wall.

Human research on curcumin co-administered with piperine has reported substantially higher curcumin bioavailability than curcumin alone. This is the least glamorous ingredient in the bottle and arguably the one doing the most for your money — because an ingredient you don't absorb is an ingredient you didn't buy.

  • Raises curcumin absorption
  • Standardized to 95% piperine
  • Included at 10 mg, not a trace amount

Dosing

1 to 2 capsules, one to three times daily. Start at the low end and hold there for two weeks before deciding whether you need more.

Take it with food

Curcuminoids are fat-soluble. Taken with a meal containing fat, more of what you paid for is absorbed. On an empty stomach, less is.

How long a bottle lasts

90 capsules. At two capsules once daily, that's 45 days. At the top of the range, closer to two weeks — match the dose to what you're actually working on.

Honest expectations

The first 90 days

Botanicals are not analgesics. They don't switch something off in 30 minutes. They shift the environment your tissue is repairing in, and that takes weeks — which is exactly why most people quit them too early and conclude they don't work.

Days 1–14

Get consistent, get it with food

Build the habit and hold the dose steady. The most common thing people notice first is not less pain — it's a less stiff first ten minutes out of bed. Keep a note of your worst joint and how it feels at 7am.

Days 15–45

Recovery windows start moving

This is where most people report the change: the day-after and two-days-after window after training or a round of golf feels shorter. If you've been raising your dose, this is when you'd expect to see whether it was needed.

Days 46–90

Judge it honestly

Ninety days is a fair trial. Compare against your day-one note, not against your memory. And if you're tracking inflammatory markers with your physician, this is a reasonable interval to recheck them.

How to shop this category

What to look for on any turmeric label

Use this on us, and use it on the next bottle you pick up anywhere else. A formula that can't answer these questions on its own label is asking you to take its word for it.

The question INFLA-MEND Typical off-the-shelf turmeric
Is the curcumin standardized? Curcumin C3 Complex®, 95% total curcuminoids Often turmeric root powder with no curcuminoid percentage stated
Is the dose disclosed? 900 mg curcuminoid extract, stated on the panel Frequently buried inside a large multi-ingredient blend

Proof, not promises

What we will and won't say about this bottle

  • We'll say the ingredients are studied. Curcumin, boswellia, bromelain and MSM all have real published human literature behind them.
  • We won't say it's a drug. This formula is designed to support your body's normal inflammatory response. It does not treat, prevent or cure any condition, and it is not a substitute for anything your physician has prescribed.
  • We'll disclose the doses that matter. 900 mg, 100 mg, 90 mg, 10 mg. You can compare that against any study you want to read.
  • We won't promise a timeline. Botanicals work on the scale of weeks. Anyone promising you 48 hours is selling you something else.
  • We'll tell you when to check with your doctor. Curcumin, bromelain and devil's claw all have real interactions. The FAQ below is specific about which ones.

Why we formulated this one

This is what I reach for.

I'm 56, I still train hard, and I still play golf. Which means I know exactly what an irritated tendon feels like at 6am. When something flares up on me — a tendinitis, an overuse ache, a joint that's had enough of my week — this is the bottle I open. Not occasionally. Every time.

There's a lot of noise right now around injectable peptides for recovery and repair. I'll be straight with you: I've never used them. I'm not anti-peptide, and if someone wants to explore that route, I'll help them find a reputable prescribing physician. But the long-term data isn't there yet, and a signaling molecule can't do much in a body that isn't set up to respond to it.

Support the pathway. Don't just silence the signal. Your body is trying to finish a repair — the job is to help it get there, not to unplug the alarm and walk away.

So we built this the way it should be built for a patient: a named, standardized curcumin at a dose that matches the research, an absorption strategy so the curcumin actually counts, an enzyme working a different angle, and botanicals covering a pathway that curcumin alone doesn't reach. No mystery blend where the label should be. No promises we can't defend.

Foundations first. Always. This is one of the few bottles I think earns a permanent spot on the shelf next to them.

Pairs well with

What INFLA-MEND stacks with

INFLA-MEND works on the signaling side of the inflammatory response. Two other formulas work angles it can't reach on its own — and together they're how I'd actually structure this for a patient.

Omega-3 TS — Triple Strength

Botanicals help regulate how an inflammatory response is switched on. Omega-3s supply the raw material your body uses to switch it back off. EPA and DHA are the direct precursors to resolvins and protectins — the compounds that actively resolve an inflammatory response rather than just quiet it.

Why the pair works There's a second reason this matters: the fatty acids sitting in your cell membranes are what get converted into inflammatory signaling molecules in the first place. A membrane pool skewed heavily toward omega-6 — which describes most modern diets — biases that conversion in the wrong direction before any supplement gets a vote. Omega-3 changes the substrate. INFLA-MEND works the pathway. That's initiation and resolution, covered from both ends.

Triple strength matters here. Meaningful EPA and DHA intake is measured in grams, not the few hundred milligrams in a standard softgel.

View Omega-3 TS →

CellCore Elite

Built around black seed oil (Nigella sativa), a botanical from an entirely different plant family than curcumin and boswellia — and standardized for thymoquinone, its most studied active compound. Black seed has a long research history in immune modulation and inflammatory balance.

Why the pair works Stacking two products that hit the same target twice is wasted money. Stacking two that cover different ground is leverage. Black seed oil has been studied on immune signaling that curcumin, boswellia and bromelain don't primarily address — so adding it broadens the footprint of the response you're supporting instead of stacking a fourth ingredient onto the same lane.
View CellCore Elite →

The way I'd sequence it: start with INFLA-MEND alone for two to three weeks so you know what it does on its own. Add Omega-3 TS next — it's the one with the widest reach beyond joints, and it changes the substrate everything else is working with. Add CellCore Elite third if you want the broadest botanical coverage. Three additions at once tells you nothing about which one earned its place.

Questions, answered

Before you start

Read this part first

Botanicals at clinical doses are active compounds, and active compounds interact. Curcumin and bromelain both influence platelet function. Devil's claw increases gastric acid secretion and may affect heart rate and blood pressure. Piperine can raise blood levels of certain medications. None of that makes this formula unsafe — it makes it real. If you take prescription medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have surgery scheduled, review the questions below and talk to your prescribing physician or pharmacist before starting.

I take a blood thinner or a daily aspirin. Can I take this?

Check with your prescriber first, and don't start without that conversation. Curcumin and bromelain have both been shown to influence platelet aggregation, which means they can add to the effect of warfarin, clopidogrel, apixaban, aspirin or other antiplatelet and anticoagulant medication. This isn't a reason nobody on those drugs can ever use a curcumin product — it's a reason your prescriber, who knows your INR and your history, should be the one making that call.

I have surgery or a dental procedure coming up.

Stop taking it at least two weeks beforehand, and tell your surgeon and anesthesiologist that you were on it. This is standard practice with curcumin and bromelain for the same platelet reason above. Put it in your phone the day you book the procedure.

Who should not take INFLA-MEND?

Don't use it if you are pregnant or nursing. Don't use it if you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction, because curcumin stimulates gallbladder contraction. Don't use it if you have an active peptic ulcer, gastritis or significant reflux, because devil's claw increases gastric acid secretion. Don't use it if you have a pineapple allergy, because bromelain is derived from pineapple stem.

Use it only with your physician's sign-off if you take medication for blood pressure, heart rhythm or heart failure (devil's claw may influence heart rate and blood pressure), if you take medication for blood sugar (curcumin may have an additive glucose-lowering effect), or if you take a narrow-therapeutic-index drug where small changes in blood level matter — piperine can slow the metabolism of some medications, including certain anticonvulsants, beta blockers and bronchodilators. Your pharmacist can check your specific list in about two minutes.

How much should I take, and when?

The label range is 1 to 2 capsules, one to three times daily. Start at 2 capsules once daily with a meal that has some fat in it, and hold there for two weeks before deciding whether to add a second dose. Higher isn't automatically better, and starting at the top of the range makes it impossible to know what dose you actually needed. If you're using it around training, dosing it after the session and again with dinner is a reasonable pattern.

How long before I notice anything?

Give it four to six weeks before you form an opinion, and ninety days before you make a final call. Curcumin and boswellia research on joint comfort generally runs on that kind of timeline, not on hours. Some people notice easier mornings inside the first two weeks; some notice nothing until week five. If you want to judge it fairly, write down how your worst joint feels on day one, because memory is a terrible instrument.

Can I take it every day, long term?

Yes, that's how it's designed to be used — chronic inflammation is a chronic problem and intermittent support doesn't address it. That said, if you're on it long term and have prescription medications in the mix, a periodic review with your physician is sensible, and rechecking inflammatory markers on labs is the honest way to know whether it's earning its place.

Is this a replacement for the anti-inflammatory my doctor prescribed?

No, and please don't treat it as one. This is a dietary supplement formulated to support your body's normal inflammatory and recovery processes. It is not a drug, it is not a substitute for prescribed medication, and no one here is telling you to stop anything. If your goal is to reduce your reliance on something, that is a conversation to have with the physician who prescribed it, with labs and a plan.

Will it upset my stomach?

Most people tolerate it well when it's taken with food. Taken on an empty stomach, curcumin and devil's claw can both cause mild GI discomfort in sensitive people, and you'll also absorb less of the curcumin. Take it with a meal. If discomfort persists after you've done that, drop back to the lower end of the dose range.

Why is there a proprietary blend if you say you disclose everything?

Fair question. The blend is 90 mg total across three ingredients, and its role is pathway breadth and connective-tissue support — the primary work in this formula is being done by the 900 mg of standardized curcuminoids and the 100 mg of bromelain, both fully disclosed with their standardization and activity units. We list every ingredient in the blend and its standardization percentage, so you know exactly what compound class you're getting. If full per-ingredient disclosure on that blend matters to you, say so — that kind of feedback is how labels get changed.

How does this compare to using peptides for recovery?

Different category entirely, and not something we'd position as a head-to-head. Injectable recovery peptides are prescription-territory compounds with strong anecdotal reports and limited long-term human data, and they should only ever be obtained through a reputable prescribing physician. This is a daily oral botanical formula supporting the pathways your body already uses to regulate its own inflammatory response. Dr. Andreas's own position: build the foundation first, because signaling molecules don't help much in a body that isn't set up to respond to them.

Put the fire out at the source

Chronic inflammation never announces itself. It just quietly collects interest.

It doesn't arrive as a diagnosis. It arrives as a stiffer first ten minutes out of bed. A recovery window that used to be one day and is now three. A shoulder that decides whether you're playing Saturday. Nothing about it feels urgent on any single day — and that is precisely how it takes a decade off how you feel and move.

Waiting is a decision. It's the one decision in this whole equation that guarantees the trend continues. And the men who feel good at 60 are almost never the ones who got lucky — they're the ones who started supporting the system a few years before they thought they had to.

Ninety days is all this asks of you. A named, standardized curcumin at a dose that matches the research. An absorption strategy so it actually counts. Three pathways covered instead of one. Take it with food, hold it for ninety days, and compare against where you are today — not against your memory.
